The American Water Spaniel Club, Inc. Announces Our 2003 National Specialty
The American Water Spaniel Club, Inc., a non profit organization, is holding its annual National Specialty Show and Obedience trial and Hunting Events August 13-17 in Roberts, Idaho. Our Specialty show and obedience trial is held on Thursday the 14, Friday is a Roustabout and Water Derby and on the 16th and 17th are hunt test events.
The AWS Club is involved with many aspects of improving and bettering the American Water Spaniel. The purpose of the club is to establish and maintain a network of people who own or are interested in our breed. We offer personal support to Club members through newsletters, providing membership lists, and hosting gatherings of members. We also conduct hunt tests just for American Water Spaniels, sponsor seminars, provide a successful rescue program and give tips on training, health, genetics and safety matters. It promotes the AWS by answering people's questions about the breed's history and present situation of the spaniel, refers people to AWS breeders and provides educational material and information to interested parties.

2003 Annual Meeting
Training events and meeting 2003 next conference will be held at Clark, South Dakota, June 27, 28 & 29, 2003.  This is a fine opportunity to see many wonderful dogs, meet the breeders and see the animals work.
