Bentwood Labrador's We have been raising labs for about 25 years, but mostly for
my own use. I was a waterfowl hunter for many years, but as I
got older I had to give it up. Since I loved retrievers so much,
I started field trialing and raising Labrador retrievers, and
since chocolates were so popular I decided to specialize in them.
Although we have some very fine chocolates we also have fine
blacks and yellows. We are breeders, not just a kennel. We do
some training and some field trialing. We have 25 acres fenced,
so our dogs can roam free sometimes when they need to. We also
have 9 fenced kennels for holding dogs in bad weather, most are
under roof. We have 3 one-acre acres to train puppies and introduce
them to water and birds. Lady the pride of our family. She is SSK and Kirby line of
chocolate's. She is off Ashway's Chief Honor and SSK's Leaping
Binky, hips good, eyes clear. She will have her first litter
the last of March with Chief, hips good, eyes clear. 80 lbs Lady's
Will have a litter with Butch in September. This is our kennel building. Supplies, whelping pens, and isolation pens are here. Building is heated and fan cooled. This is Butch. My favorite dog and companion. In his younger
years. He is off FC AFC Kellys Midnight Trapper and Coco Lady.
Hips excellent, eyes clear. 95 lbs A view of the Twin lakes One of our dogs retrieving a duck under actual hunting conditions.
